ServSafe® FOOD SAFETY TRAINING

The Ohio Department of Health requires all food service facilities licensed at a ‘Risk Level 3 or 4’ to have at least one staff person who has completed an ODH approved Level 2 Food Safety training.

LEVEL 2 FOOD SAFETY - MANAGER TRAINING

ServSafe® In-Class Manager Training

ServSafe® Manager Training has become the industry standard in food-safety training and is accepted in almost all U.S. jurisdictions that require employee certification. Manager Training meets ODH Level 2 Training Requirements. The Manager Training program provides food service managers, operators, and owners with accurate, up-to-date information on all aspects of handling food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving. Upon successful completion of the course and exam, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from ServSafe® and an Ohio Food Protection Card from ODH. Several three-day, in person classes have been scheduled for 2018. See the registration flyer for dates. The class fee is $140 per person.

Also Available:    LEVEL 1 FOOD SAFETY - FOOD HANDLERS TRAINING

Food Handlers Training is a one-day basic food safety training which meets ODH Level 1 Training requirements for food service employees as well as those opening an establishment for the first time. The Employee Training enhances employee understanding of major food safety principles: time and temperature abuse, cross-contamination, and personal hygiene. The program includes a National Restaurant Association Education Foundation handbook, several hands-on activities and a Certificate of Completion. See the registration flyer for 2018 class dates. The class fee is $20.
