Join the Washington County OSU Extension Master Gardener Volunteers at an Open House to celebrate their ongoing work with youth at the Washington County Juvenile Center. They are excited to share their work at The Bob Rothwell Teaching Gardens and would also like to thank their ongoing and new supporters. This is a great multi-generational program impacting both the youth and adult volunteers involved with the program.

Washington County 4-H is offering a variety of project clinics for local interested youth. The clinics are open to all youth, regardless if enrolled in 4-H or taking the 4-H project. Clinics are for youth ages 8 and up.

T.J. Wells grew up in Whipple, Ohio on a small farm in Washington County where his family raised polled Hereford cattle, hay, and a garden. He was active in 4-H, taking various livestock market projects and beef breeding projects that developed his interest in production agriculture.
He attended The Ohio State University and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, majoring in Animal Sciences, with a minor in Agricultural Business. As an OSU student he was a member of the General Livestock Judging Team.
