Night to Shine in the Show Ring is an opportunity for special needs youth and adults to work with a 4-H/FFA youth member that has raised and shown animals. Youth mentors will be paired with Night to Shine Participants.
The show will take place on Monday, September 7 at 3:00 pm during the Washington County Fair. Mentors and participants will begin the show at 2:30 by meeting each other and meeting the animal prior to the show at 3:00.

The Ohio State University Extension Office in Washington County will be closed Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth holiday.
Regular office hours will resume on Monday, June 22, 2026.

The Ohio State University Extension Office of Washington County is closed Monday, January 26, due to inclement weather. Staff will be working remotely and will be able to answer phone calls and speak to clientele.
Because of the bitter cold weather predicted, please call before making a trip to our office any day this week. Our office may be closed other days.
We're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. Please know that we appreciate your continued support and know that we value our staff's safety as well.

The Ohio State University will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 1. We look forward to spending time with our family and friends and observing the university’s winter academic recess.

The OSU Extension Office will be closed on Thursday, November 27 and Friday, November 28, to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
Doors will reopen on Monday, December 1, at 8:00am.
