    BLAST OFF! is three 4-session online parenting series. The curriculum, Active Parenting, uses videos and discussion to introduce information that may help participants to improve their parenting, which also might help them to be less stressed.

    Each series focuses on parenting a specific age of children: birth to five, five to twelve, or teenagers.

    Food Safety Certification

    The objective of the Ohio Department of Health’s certification in food protection rule, 3701-21-25 of the Administrative Code, is to educate and train food personnel on effective food safety practices for preventing foodborne illness. Ohio's Certification program consists of two levels of training: Person-In-Charge (formerly "level one") and Manager (formerly "level two").

    Washington County 4-H recently recognized 4-H volunteers, members and community friends at their Year-end 4-H Celebration.

    4-H Participating in Toy & Food Drive

    Washington County 4-H is partnering with The Salvation Army Washington County Angel Tree program to collect toys and non-perishable food for area families. Area families and businesses are welcome to join 4-H families to meet this need in the MOV.

    Toys must be newly purchased and unwrapped. All toys must be dropped off to the OSU Extension Office located at 1115 Gilman Ave, Marietta.
