End users of beef products, including Tyson Foods and Wendy's are now starting to require producers of that beef to have Beef Quality Assurance Training. OSU Extension, the Ohio Beef Council, the Ohio Cattlemen's
Association and Ohio's cattle markets and collection points are working together to offer BQA trainings in Ohio. Certification lasts for three years. Producers may take and in-person class or complete the training online at bqa.org.
Those wishing to attend this class on March 5 will need to pre-register. Class size is limited to the first 25 registrants. Click here for registration flyer with more information.
