Welcome Darlene Lukshin

Darlene Lukshin joined OSU Extension-Washington County on August 16, 2010.  Prior to that she had been the Financial Development Officer for American Red Cross-Washington County; served as Governor’s Regional Economic Development Representative; and, as Deputy Director of Economic Development for Washington County.  Darlene brought 30 years of experience in management and accounting to her economic development career.  Darlene has a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Wheeling Jesuit University and an associate’s degree in Business Management from Washington Technical College.  She has completed the ODA/IEDC Ohio Economic Development Course and Nine Weeks to a Better Community, along with various professional development seminars.

Darlene is a lifelong resident of Washington County.  She serves in many civic organizations and is a past president of Marietta Morning Rotary.  She is has two grown daughters, enjoys the outdoors, and resides in the Reno area.
