Free Food Preservation Class
On Wednesday, August 6, 5:30pm Katharine Shumaker, MS, RD, LD will present a three hour class which includes a hands-on session of canning tomatoes in a boiling water bath. If time permits, a hands-on pressure canning session of green beans will follow.
Katharine is an Extension Educator, Family and Consumer Sciences, with Ohio State University Extension in Holmes County.
We will also do safety checks and pressure canner testing for those people who bring their canners.
