Information about Community Development in Washington County

Welcome to the Washington County Community Development Program

 
Community Development in Washington County is associated with several diverse activities.  Grant preparation and coordination is designed to respond to community problems and opportunities; management of the County’s tax incentive programs provides the chance to create unique public/private partnerships and to enhance public revenue while simultaneously retaining or expanding employment; and the developmental planning processes provide the foundation for effective decision-making and co-active resource allocation and management.

These activities take place in one of Ohio’s largest counties where cooperation and active involvement in every geographic area reinforce the importance of extension to the local community.
